The ecoBiz program is the DERM’s (Queensland Government Dept of Environment and Resource Management) signature partnership program with Queensland business and industry.

EcoBiz helps businesses realise the profitable opportunities to be found in eco-efficiency. The program assists businesses through a six-step process to achieve cost savings by taking a closer look at energy, water and materials used and reducing those used.

EcoBiz dividends are most likely to be seen in cost savings through reduced energy and water consumption and more productive use of materials. Ultimately, the business outcomes of improved eco-efficiency include stronger market position, competitive advantage, growth, and cost reduction.

Businesses which successfully complete the ecoBiz program are deemed DERM ecoBiz Partners and are permitted to use the ecoBiz symbol on communication and promotional material.

EnviroIndustry Gold Coast is an ecoBiz Allied Partner, providing assistance in the implementation of this program on the Gold Coast Region.  EnviroIndustry Gold Coast assists ecoBiz participants from all business types through the six-step process and provide valueable contacts with Gold Coast based environment industry businesses that can assist with the implementation of eco-efficient practises.
